Pennsylvania DUI Lawyer & Defense Attorney.

A DUI conviction follows you — jail time, license suspension, ignition interlock, insurance hikes, and a permanent criminal record. We fight every tier of PA DUI from the moment you call.

What we defend.

As a Pennsylvania DUI lawyer with nearly three decades in Central PA courtrooms, Attorney Sean P. Quinlan defends drivers charged under every tier of 75 Pa.C.S. § 3802 — from first-offense general impairment to felony DUI, refusals, and accident-related cases.

Every Pennsylvania DUI is different. The BAC tier, prior offenses, accident, refusal, and stop legality all change the strategy. We investigate every piece — from the initial traffic stop to the calibration of the breath machine.

As an active member of the National College for DUI Defense, Inc. (NCDD), the nation's premier organization for DUI defense advocates, Attorney Quinlan brings specialized knowledge, advanced training, and cutting-edge resources to every client's case.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Common questions about Pennsylvania DUI charges, ARD, license suspensions, and what to do after an arrest.

  • Pennsylvania's first-offense DUI penalties depend on your BAC tier. General impairment (BAC .08–.099) typically carries up to 6 months probation, a $300 fine, and no license suspension if there are no aggravating factors. High BAC (.10–.159) adds a 12-month license suspension and 48 hours minimum jail. Highest BAC (.16+), refusals, or controlled-substance DUIs carry 72 hours minimum jail, a 12-month suspension, and fines up to $5,000. Ignition interlock is required on most first offenses with suspension.
